The Host is to:
Provide each guest with a key to the house.
Provide meals as specified in booking.
Provide the guest with a clean and tidy room. Basic furniture that includes a bed, closet, desk, chair and good lighting are to be provided by the family. Bed sheets are to be changed weekly.
Not toaccept to favors such as baby sitting, and mowing the lawn etc. Light house duties are permitted.
Ttreat the guest with respect and tolerance and consistently provide all aspects of hospitality to the student. If improper physical advances towards a guest occur, the guest will be removed from the home and legal action taken if warranted.
Speak English when the guest is present.
Show the guest how to get around the local area and how the transportation system works.
Show the guest some local places of interest and include the guest in the family's activities for the duration of their stay.
Make laundry facilities available to their guest.
Show and inform the guest about how things work and where things are in the kitchen, bedroom, laundry and other areas in the home.
Explain the dynamics of the household in order to avoid problems.
Be tolerant of the guests foreign customs and habits.
Take out insurance for yourself against personal accident, third party liability and damage.
Be available to receive the student at their arrival once you have been notified of their arrival time.
